Police are appealing for witnesses following a two vehicle collision in Lakenheath.

The incident occurred at 6.45pm yesterday, Tuesday, November 26, on the B1112 Station Road, 300 metres from the junction with Wangford Road, and involved a blue Mercedes C240 and a red Honda Civic.

The vehicles were involved in a head-on collision and both drivers were taken to Addenbrookes Hospital. One of the drivers suffered internal injuries and the other sustained more minor injuries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle travelling along the road either prior to, or when the collision took place.

Any witnesses should contact PC Adam Haylock at the Bury St Edmunds Roads Policing and Firearms Operations Unit on 101.
