A laptop and a medical thermal imaging camera were stolen from a well-being centre in Colchester.

The camera, which is crucial to the victim’s work at The Tree Room Centre, in Trinity Street, is worth a five-figure sum.

It is believed that a man entered the centre, which hosts yoga classes and holistic treatments, around 2.45pm on December 15.

He asked to use the toilet, and it is believed that he then stole a purple rucksack which contained the two items, before leaving the premises.

Anyone with information which could help locate the suspect and reunite the items with the owner, is asked to contact Pc Christopher Raynsford on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
