MORE than 60 firefighters battled a large blaze at two houses in Lowestoft in the early hours of this morning.The fire, which involved the roof and first floor of two mid-terraced properties, started at around 3.10am.
MORE than 60 firefighters battled a large blaze at two houses in Lowestoft in the early hours of this morning.
The fire, which involved the roof and first floor of two mid-terraced properties in Kirkley Run, started at around 3.10am today.
Eight pumps were in attendance from stations including Lowestoft, Beccles, Yarmouth and Southwold.
At 5am the fire was reported as ongoing and crews remained at the scene. The incident was finished by 6.15am although one crew stayed at the scene to damp down a hot spot.
