A CRIMINAL serving a life term in jail has absconded from a Suffolk prison.
A CRIMINAL serving a life term in jail has absconded from a Suffolk prison.
Michael Archer, who was jailed for wounding with intent, was last seen at Hollesley Bay at about 5.30am yesterday but had gone missing by 8am.
The 47-year-old is described as white, 6ft tall, of thin build, with grey/ brown hair, brown eyes, an oval shaped face and a scar on his chin.
He also has a scroll tattoo on his torso.
Archer has connections to the Thetford area and the Newton Aycliffe area of Northumberland.
If anyone spots him they should contact the police and not take any further action.
Anyone who may have seen him, or who may have information about where he is now, should call Suffolk Police on 01473 613500 or contact their nearest police station.
