A LIFEBOAT had to rescue a yacht after it ran into trouble off the coast of Harwich.
At 2.55am the Harwich RNLI All Weather Lifeboat was launched to assist the 30ft yacht called Chevin Star, which had fishing gear entangled around its propeller and rudder.
It was situated eight miles east of Harwich.
The yacht, which had three people on board, was towed back to the lifeboat pontoons where it was freed from obstructions.
