Lindback back in GPs
Speedway: Antonio Lindback will return Grand Prix speedway racing as the wild card for the Swedish GP at the Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg on May 30.
The 24 year old Swede, who was born in Brazil, retired from the sport in 2007.
But former Ipswich Witches and six-time world champion Tony Rickardsson has taken Lindback under his wing with Lindback putting in impressive performances across Europe.
Paul Bellamy, managing director BSI Speedway, said: “Antonio is a very gifted rider and it is fantastic news he is able to compete at the top level in speedway once again. He is still young and with the right guidance I am sure he will be able to harness the talent he clearly has.”
