Greater Anglia say that earlier disruptions are expected to come to an end.
A statement on Greater Anglia’s website earlier indicated that trains would not be running in the area for a time whilst emergency services were at the scene.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” said the train company.
Rail replacement buses were also used to help ease congestions.
Greater Anglia accepted Great Northern tickets between Cambridge & London Liverpool Street during the disruption.
