Pupils from Long Melford Church of England Primary School have taken part in a wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity Church.

The service which was officiated by Reverend Matthew Lawson taught the pupils what happens during a wedding ceremony.

Amanda Woolmer, Headteacher, said: “It was a way of enriching the curriculum, and linking it to the Royal Wedding made it extra special. We took the children up to church and had Reverend Matthew Lawson hold the service and stop during to explain what and why he was doing things.”
