A PERSON was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation after a house fire in the centre of Lowestoft last night.
Firefighters were called to an address in the town’s High Street at just after 9.30pm.
One appliance from Lowestoft North, one from Lowestoft South and an aerial appliance were used. A support pump from Yarmouth was also mobilised.
On arrival the crews called an ambulance to aid one person suffering from smoke inhalation.
Two breathing apparatus were used while one hose reel jet was used to fight the fire .
The incident was under control by 10.01pm and all appliances were back at base by 10.25pm.
