Firefighters tackled a house blaze in Bloomfield Way, Lowestoft, on Wednesday evening.
Two crews from Lowestoft South were sent to the house at 10.25pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and covering jets to tackle a kitchen fire.
The blaze was over within half an hour and crews remained at the scene to ventilate the property.
