A man has tonight been detained by police officers after he was spotted brandishing a crossbow in Lowestoft.
Police were called to reports of the incident in the Bridge Road area of the town. He was detained at 9.20pm.
Reports on social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, suggested he was threatening to shoot people with the weapon.
