KING'S Lynn's Norfolk Arena will stage a British speedway semi-final on Wednesday, May 12.
Club officials confirmed Saddlebow had been selected to host the prestigious domestic individual meeting which could feature the likes of five-time winner Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger and current British champion Chris Harris.
Stars' co-promoter Buster Chapman predicts one of the best contests of the season with a prized wild card to the British GP at Cardiff available for the overall winner.
"There will be no seeded places in the final, not even for riders like Scott Nicholls or Lewis Bridger, so they will have to fight their way through the semi-finals with everybody else," he said.

"Last year I said that I wanted to blood some youth into the national team and proved that by giving Danny King a shot," he said.
"So considering that this year's World Cup round is actually at King's Lynn it will give me a chance to take a look at some of the younger riders I may not have considered before.
"I am still open minded about my team selection and someone I hadn't previously considered may actually come along and rise to the challenge, so it should be an interesting meeting."
Lyon will lead his country on home shale in round two of the World Team Cup event against Australia, Sweden and a qualifier on Monday, July 26.
"It is a real feather in the cap for everyone involved at the Arena." said Chapman.
