COMMUTERS are facing severe delays on the A14 this evening after three vehicles were involved in a road accident during rush hour.
MULTIPLE vehicles have been involved in an accident on the A14 this evening causing severe delays during rush hour.
The collision at Haughley on the east bound carriageway between junctions 47 and 48, happened at about 5.25pm.
Ten vehicles were involved in the incident and the road re-opened at about 8.30pm.
Five people are believed to have sustained minor injuries in the multi-car accident.
Another road crash on the A14 at Copdock Mill at about 4.39pm this afternoon had already led to delays for commuters.
Three vehicles, a black Vauxhall Meriva, a bronze Honda Civic and a white Ford transit collided on the east bound slip road, blocking the road and causing severe tail backs.
It is believed the casualties involved have only received minor injuries and emergency services are currently on the scene.
