AN ELDERLY man was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after he fell off his pedal bike in north Suffolk this morning.
AN ELDERLY man was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after he fell off his pedal bike in north Suffolk this morning.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was cycling along the B1190 at Sweffling, between Framlingham and Saxmundham when he fell sustaining the injuries.
The air ambulance was called to the scene and the man was airlifted straight to Addenbrokes Hospital in Cambridge, where they have a specialist unit.
