The air ambulance was deployed to help a man who collapsed in Ipswich today.
Two ambulances and an East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Heath Road around noon.
The victim, a man aged in his 60s, had gone into cardiac arrest and received a head injury.
Paramedics performed CPR on the patient before he was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
The man is believed to be in a stable condition.
