A YOUNG man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered life threatening stab wounds.
SUFFOLK: A young man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man suffered life threatening stab wounds.
Police were called to an address in Stow Road, Ixworth, just after 6pm this evening after being contacted by ambulance crews.
A 41-year-old man had sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at the property on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds, with a minor hand injury and treated under police guard.
The man is now in custody at Bury Police Station where he will be quizzed by officers.
