A MAN from Ipswich was arrested for child porn offences after he was spotted taking photographs of children on a Sussex beach.
The man, aged in his 40s to 50s, was seen photographing children playing on Worthing beach at around 4.40pm on Sunday at the Birdman event.
Police officers spoke to the man and looked through the images on his camera before arresting him on suspicion of possession of indecent images.
Searches were subsequently conducted at an address in Worthing and the man's home in Ipswich, where police said they had found "a number of major recording devices".
Computers and flash drives were seized from the home for analysis.
The man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
