A Suffolk librarian is alleged to have been the victim of racial abuse today.
Police in Bury St Edmunds said this afternoon a man had been arrested at the town’s library for a “racially aggravated public order offence against a staff member”.
The victim is said to be receiving support from officers while the suspect remains in custody.
St Edmundsbury Police tweeted: “Racial abuse will not be tolerated”.
