Essex Police is appealing for information after a man was robbed and assaulted in Clacton.
The incident happened in Pier Avenue on October 12 between 9am and 10.30am.
A group of people approached a 50-year-old man on the street and demanded that he give them his bag.
When he refused to do so, they grabbed the bag and assaulted him. They then left in the direction of Jackson Road.
The victim has given descriptions of two of the members of the group who approached him.
The woman in the group was described as white, between 30 and 50 years, and around 5ft 6 inches tall.
She was described as being of a larger build with shoulder length dark hair.
One of the men in the group was described as white with chin length brown hair.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Pc Chloe Dolce at Clacton CID on 101 quoting incident 350 of October 12.
