A MAN was injured after an attacker thrust a tool with a small blade at him in Lakenheath.
The victim was confronted by a man in Broom Road in the town around 3.30pm on Friday, who then attacked him with the weapon, injuring his upper arm.
A fight broke out between the pair before the attacker ran off towards Back Street.
The suspect is described as a white man in his teens, around 5ft 2ins tall, of average build with short black hair with a fringe and a distinctive red birthmark on his face.
He was wearing a black T-shirt and black, cargo-style trousers.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the attack to call PC 1213 James Greenhalf at Mildenhall Response on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
