A Suffolk man who was caught looking under a cubicle at a Suffolk shopping outlet while two schoolgirls were trying on clothes and underwear has been given a community order.
Sentencing Luke Stacey, Recorder Jeremy Benson said his behaviour in June last year at The Original Factory Shop, in Brandon, had been an unpleasant experience for the two 14-year-old girls.
Stacey, 36, of Lode Street, Brandon had denied voyeurism, but was found guilty by a jury after an earlier trial. Yesterday he was handed a two-year community order, a 60-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 60 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £1,548 costs.
He was also given a sexual harm prevention order banning him from going into unisex changing rooms, or changing rooms specifically used by women for five years.
Mark Roochove, for Stacey, said his client maintained his innocence, but accepted the jury’s verdict.
He said Stacey was chemical processor and was being supported by his wife who works at RAF Mildenhall
