Colchester Magistrates' Court.
A man has been charged with driving while under the influence of controlled drugs.
It comes after a collision on the A120 at Braintree on July 8.
Stephen May, aged 27, of Anson Way, Braintree, will appear before magistrates in Colchester on October 21.
