A MAN has been charged with 28 offences of handling stolen goods and possession of criminal property after police recovered a quantity of items from an address in Ipswich.

A satellite navigation system, electrical items, mountain bikes, mobile phones, SIM cards and clothing were among the items recovered after police raided an address in Wellington Street in April.

The property is believed to have been stolen since 2005 from Ipswich, Wortham, Hepworth, Westhorpe, Felixstowe, Pakenham, Great Finborough, Thurston, Little Bealings, Westerfield, Rendlesham, Bradfield St George, Groton and Boxford.

Paul Watchman, 23, of Wellington Street in Ipswich, has been charged with handling stolen goods and possession of criminal property and is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday July 9.
