A TWO car crash on the A140 has caused traffic problems for motorists today.

The accident happened at 6.40pm near Thornham Magna and involved a green VW Golf and a silver Renault Megane.

The male driver of the Golf needed to be cut from his car by firefighters and suffered back pain in the crash. He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital but it is not thought that his injuries are life-threatening.

Suffolk police said the crash had resulted in congestion on the south-bound carriageway of the A140.
