A MAN has died after being found hanging in an Ipswich park today.
The 50-year-old was discovered in Broomhill Park and despite the best efforts of paramedics to save him he could not be revived and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The ambulance service had been called to the scene, which was visible from Valley Road, near the junction with Westwood Avenue, at about 8.25am.
Police officers also attended and an area of the wood was cordoned off until about 9.30am when the man's body was taken away in a private ambulance.
