A 30-YEAR-OLD man has died in hospital following an alleged attack in Norwich at the weekend.

Timothy Moore, of Templemere, Norwich, was injured in the incident outside Sing Sing in Prince of Wales Road at about 1am on Saturday.

He was initially taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious head injuries but was later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he died last night.

Soldier Daniel Christopher Gooda, of Combermere Barracks, Windsor, who had been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm, one count of affray and one count of common assault has been released on conditional bail and is due to reappear at Norwich Crown Court, on Monday.

Gooda is a member of the household cavalry.

An 18-year-old man from the Long Stratton area, who was also arrested, remains on police bail pending further enquiries.
