The driver of a car that crashed in Felixstowe yesterday has died.
Emergency services including Suffolk police, the Essex Air Ambulance and the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the crash between a black Volvo S40 and a street sign in Wolsey Gardens at around 1.30pm.
The driver of the vehicle, described as an elderly man, suffered a cardiac arrest according to a constabulary spokesman, and was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition for further treatment.
The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service also attended the incident.
