POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Essex today.
A man died following a collision between two cars on the A127 near West Horndon, south Essex, at about 5.20am today on the eastbound carriageway between the Halfway House and Dunton turn-offs.
The eastbound carriageway has been closed and is likely to remain closed for several hours while police carry out their initial investigation.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and anyone who can help should contact Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 0300 3334444.
