A MAN died and a woman was left seriously injured today following a double stabbing.
The 46-year-old man and 53-year-old woman were stabbed in Sherwood Avenue in St Albans shortly before 9am. The woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.
An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack.
It is believed that the two victims were neighbours. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry, which they called an ‘isolated incident’.
