A 52-year-old man from Buxhall, near Stowmarket, has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and false imprisonment of a woman in November last year.
Robbie Thurston, of Mill Road in Buxhall, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court this morning via video link from prison.
He is accused of injuriously imprisoning a woman against her will between November 23 and 25, and unlawfully causing GBH on a woman on November 24.
He pleaded guilty to both counts.
The court heard during a hearing before Judge John Devaux that Thurston is already before the court and due to face trial for three other charges – two of rape on November 21 and one of failure to comply with notification requirements.
All five charges will be heard during the trial, which has been adjourned until Tuesday, April 11 at Ipswich Crown Court.
