THE air ambulance was scrambled this afternoon after a pensioner was knocked unconscious when he fell off his bike.
The accident happened between Bures and Lamarsh on the Suffolk/Essex border around 2pm.
The 68-year-old male was taken by Anglia One to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with head injuries.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Air Ambulance said the pensioner regained consciousness and he was not thought to be badly hurt.
