A MEMBER of staff from a Suffolk holiday complex was rushed to hospital with “traumatic injuries” after he was hit by a tree.
Paramedics were called to Center Parcs in Elveden Forest at 1.53pm.
The ambulance service said the 40-year-old was conscious and breathing but was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds with “traumatic injuries”.
A spokesperson for Center Parcs said: “I can confirm that a member of staff was taken to hospital today after an incident during routine forestry works. His injuries are not thought serious and Center Parcs are investigating the circumstances.”
An ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called at 1.53pm to reports of a 40-year-old man who had been hit by a tree.”
