A MAN has today appeared in court charged in relation to an incident at a restaurant in Sudbury.
Police were called to Friends Chinese Restaurant in North Street on Thursday at around 10.30pm to reports of a disturbance.
A man in his 20s was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital with head injuries, not thought to be life threatening.
Shang Lu, 26, of Bilston in the West Midlands has been charged with burglary dwelling, attempt grievous bodily harm and was remanded in police custody to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court.
