The collision happened at the junction of the A14 and the A140 at about 3.10pm.
Two vehicles collided and one male casualty believed to be in his 30s, was taken by ambulance crews to Ipswich Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the East of England ambulance service said it was not thought the injuries were serious but the man was undergoing further treatment at hospital.
