A MAN died of natural causes while go-karting, a post mortem has revealed.
Derek McKechnie, a plumbing and heating engineer from Ashbeam Close, Great Warley near Brentwood was racing with friends at Indikart Racing in Grange Way, Colchester, on Monday October 11.
The 59-year-old crashed his kart into tyres at the edge of the track and died in hospital soon after.
Essex Police has said he died of natural causes and that there would be no further police involvement.
