Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Colchester last night.
According to a spokesman for Essex Police, the incident happened just after midnight on Monday, August 6, in Turner Road.
“The victim has suffered a wound to his back and bottom and has been taken to hospital where he is in a life-threatening condition,” she said.
“A 14 year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 16 year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
“They are both currently in custody.”
