The suspect was taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of taking a car without consent after he was involved in a crash.
Police were called to Colbeck Road in Haverhill at around 2pm to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a black Mini Cooper.
The driver, from Haverhill, was arrested at the scene and taken to Bury Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
The man was not injured during the collision.
