A man who was given a suspended prison sentence for sexually assaulting a woman at Braintree railway station has been jailed for eight weeks after breaching the order.
Before Ipswich Crown Court today was Abdul Ansary, 49, of no fixed address, who admitted threatening behaviour and breaching a suspended sentence order imposed at Ipswich Crown Court in February last year for an offence of sexual assault.
He was jailed for eight weeks and given a ten day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Giles Morrison, prosecuting, said Ansary had breached the suspended sentence order by committing an offence of threatening behaviour during the operational period of the suspended sentence.
He said the sexual assault happened after Ansary approached a woman in a waiting room at Braintree railway station and asked to use her phone.
After she let him use her phone, he had grabbed her head and tried to kiss her and had then stroked her bottom after asking to make another call on her phone.
