A WOMAN is critically ill in hospital with serious stab wounds following an incident this morning.
Police officers were called to Winchester Way, Thetford, at around 8am and the woman was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.
A man in his 30s, believed to be known to the woman, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in police custody awaiting questioning.
Officers are not looking for anyone else at this time.
