A MAN was rescued by fire crews after a blaze in the kitchen of his bed-sit.
Firefighters from Clacton went to North Road in Great Clacton at 12.32am today and found the kitchen of the property ablaze.
The man, aged in his forties, was suffering from shock and had to be led to safety. The fire was out by 12.52am.
