AN Essex homeowner returned to his house in Colchester to find the kitchen on fire.
AN Essex homeowner returned to his house in Colchester to find the kitchen on fire.
The owner of the property in Wilson Marriage Road phoned the fire service, shortly before 12.15pm today, reporting smoke coming from the kitchen.
Firefighters from Colchester quickly extinguished the blaze wearing breathing apparatus and declared the house safe to return to at 12.26pm.
