Man seriously hurt in lorry accident

A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a collision with a lorry.

The incident happened outside Dean High School in Yarmouth Road in Lowestoft at 2.56pm today.

The man, aged in his 30s, was unconscious when ambulance crews arrived.

He was taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious head injuries.

As a result of the incident the A12 Yarmouth Road is currently closed both ways to traffic.
