A MAN is in hospital after he was shot by police responding to a domestic incident.
The 44-year-old, who is in a serious condition, was shot by firearms officers called to a house in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, just after midnight this morning.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission said there was a disturbance in the house and a police weapon was fired.
The IPCC is investigating the shooting.
