Man in hospital with serious injuries after crashing into tree in Rendham, Suffolk

A motorist is in hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a tree in Rendham the early hours of this morning.

Suffolk police officers were called at around 2.30am to the B1119 in Rendham, near Saxmundham, to reports that a black Honda Civic had crashed into a tree.

A force spokesman said that one man had been taken to hospital with a serious injury.

Officers are carrying out an investigation into the incident.
