The man was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
The man aged in his 50s was taken to Colchester General Hospital with a suspected broken leg.
Ambulances crews were called to Colchester Road, Wix, at 2.37pm to a report of a man’s leg being run over by a forklift truck.
An ambulance crew from the East of England Ambulance Service and a response car from Essex Air Ambulance attended.
The air ambulance medics also travelled on the ambulance to help treat the patient.
