Manningtree: Necklace taken in burglary

JEWELLERY and money were stolen from a bedroom in Manningtree.

Burglars forced a kitchen window open at the back of the house in Horsley Cross before searching the property.

A three figure sum of cash was stolen along with a gold heart necklace set with diamonds. About £100 damage was caused to a window.

The incident happened sometime between 4pm and 4.30pm on Monday April 29.

Anyone with information should call officers at Clacton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
