Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was approached in a Suffolk village.
The incident happened in Yaxley Road, Mellis, near Stowmarket, at approximately 8.30am on Friday.
A white panel van approached a 12-year-old boy and the male driver asked if he wanted a lift.
The victim declined and the suspect drove off towards Yaxley.
The man is described as white, aged between his 50s and 60s, had grey wavy collar-length hair, blue eyes and was wearing a red woollen jumper.
The van is described as white, with no writing on, very clean and had the near side rear wheel trim missing.
