A MAN suffered burns to his face, hands and arms after attempted to light a bonfire with petrol.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the Common in Mellis at 4.13pm today after a 34-year-old started the bonfire, which quickly got out of control due to the use of petrol.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said that the man had been taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with burns.
