TWO men appeared in court today charged with kidnapping and assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident in Ipswich this week.
Michael Allen, a 40-year-old from Mauleverer Road in London, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with kidnap and ABH.
Patrick McDermott, a 22-year-old of Corrance Road in London, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with kidnap, ABH and also possession of a controlled drug.
Both men appeared in South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court today.
A third man, 22 years old from Ipswich, was also arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of kidnap and has been released on police bail, due to return to Ipswich Police Station at 10am on Tuesday August 10.
