A HEARTH had to be removed from a west Suffolk property as firefighters tried to put out a chimney fire.
It happened today at a property in Mill Street, Mildenhall, at about 11.10am. A fire engine from Mildenhall attended the incident, which was over at 12.03pm.
The hearth was removed to the rear garden and chimney gear was used to extinguish the fire.
